At the end of the 60's a group of several hundred Afro Americans gathered around their spiritual leader and a profound belief that they are the decedents of the lost Hebrew tribes - and came to Israel . They settled in the southern town of Dimona. Over the years, they became an integral and important part of Israeli culture, enriching the Israeli pop music scene with their own blues , soul and gospel ingredients. In the last decade or so, a mutual musical work between Eldad Shrem and the musicians of the community created a number of performing groups that have swept Israel with their wonderful energy and unique sound.
